Not sure where your vehicle lands? That's normal — your detailer will assess it onsite and review findings with you before starting.
What’s Not Included in The showroom detail
Some conditions and services fall outside this package because they require specialized processes, more time, or different equipment:
- Pet hair extraction — vacuuming picks up loose hair, but removing hair embedded in upholstery and carpet fibers is an add-on
- Heavy interior staining or biohazard cleanup
- Excessive trash removal
- Heavy exterior contamination (sap, cement dust, overspray, thick tar)
- Headliner stain removal (limited by adhesive sensitivity)
- Paint correction, scratch removal, rock chip repair
- Odor remediation (smoke, mildew, pet odors)
If we encounter any of these, your detailer will review options with you before proceeding — including the cost, what we can realistically achieve, and whether it makes sense to add the service.

What to REALISTICALLY EXPECT
Most vehicles see significant improvement, but a few limitations are worth knowing upfront. Use the accordion widget for these:
- Permanent stains and fabric wear Some discoloration, wear, and deeply set stains may not fully come out, regardless of method. We'll let you know on inspection what's likely vs. unlikely.
- Headliner stain limitations Headliners are delicate. We use the safest method available, but some stains can't be fully removed without risking the adhesive that holds the fabric in place.
- Scratches, rock chips, and clear coat damage These aren't part of the Showroom Detail. We can quote paint correction or chip repair separately if you'd like.
We prioritize methods that are safe for your vehicle's materials and finishes, even if that means a stain doesn't come fully clean. We'll always tell you what we can expect to realistically achieve before we start.
How to Prepare for Your Appointment
To help us work efficiently and deliver the best result:
- Please remove personal items from seats, floorboards, and trunk
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and can be opened during the service
- If possible, park in an area with adequate space around the vehicle
BEFORE we start work
When your detailer arrives, they'll walk through the vehicle with you (or share photos if you're not onsite) and confirm:
- The vehicle's condition tier
- Any add-ons needed and their cost
- Anything we recommend but isn't required
- Realistic outcomes for any specific concerns you have
Work doesn't begin until you've reviewed and approved the scope. No surprise charges.
By booking a WAXD Showroom Detail, you acknowledge that you've reviewed what's included and understand that any add-ons or out-of-scope services will be confirmed with you before work begins.
